MEDIA RELEASE from NIMBIN HEMP Embassy

NEXT NIMBIN MEDICAL CANNABIS WORKSHOP SATURDAY JAN 21

There is a big day planned for the Nimbin HEMP Embassy’s next MEDICAN Workshop on Saturday January 21, from 11 am in the village Hall. “It’s all about education”, says Embassy president Michael Balderstone,” and finally there are a lot of ears wanting to listen. The workshop is also a good opportunity to ask questions and meet people who have been involved with mediweed for decades.”

Dr Andrew Katelaris is coming up from Sydney again, Tony Bower from Mullaways medical cannabis is speaking, Andrew Kavasilas will fill us in on the latest from the government and Chris Harris about healing holistically with herbs.

Then there is a number of medical cannabis users coming to talk about their healing this time. Michael Lambert will be speaking about growing pot to stop his five year olds seizures, Christine Sorensen on treating her cerebral palsy daughter, Michele Robertson on treating chronic pain and several speakers on their successful treatment of cancer.

CBD Luke will be here again to teach us more about that specific cannabinoid and Radic Al will be teaching extraction methods. The cafe will be open with healthy hempseed foods.

The medical cannabis movement has been laughed at and ridiculed for a long time but finally the evidence is appearing that shows hippies weren’t deluded after all! Anyone is welcome to this day of talks and discussion and entry is by donation only.
