Hemp Embassy Headlines Issue 599 Feb 23 2024

Break out your sunnies and slather on the sunscreen, folks!
Mother Nature decided to crank up the heat a notch today. It’s so hot, I saw a lizard fanning itself with a hemp leaf. 😀
Welcome to another balmy Friday!
In the news this week:
Germany going ahead with its plans to vote today. We likely see or hear about the results in a next couple of days but it’s looking pretty good for them with the push of the people behind it all.
Tasmanian Farmers are forging ahead and really letting the government know that they aren’t helping anything, not the farmers, not the plant, not the country.Farmers can see the value in Hemp and often have nothing to do with Cannabis or Hemp at all.Great to see the stigma dying off.The Hemp Varietal trials are getting much attention from farmers across Australia especially in Northern NSW.
Drugs detected in our parks? Not really surprising, some people have no option but to remain discrete. It’s a bit of a puff piece from 7News but worth a watch nonetheless.
New York’s onto the next step of sorting out their rules for home cultivation.I think that’s marvellous, they really are embracing all the good and bads of Hemp and Cannabis.
Hope the weather isn’t too rough on you, the heat knocks me around heaps. Stay hydrated and have a wonderful weekend.
