Hemp Embassy Headlines Issue 547 February 17 2023

Is the law not a crime?
This week there was an abundance of news in Cannabis and Hemp.
Much of it was reiterating things we have seen over the past couple of months but we are seeing progress.
There are some decent Hemp Stories so they got their own attention and category this week.
I’ve included an article from my favourite Canna Cook, Emily Kyle, who I personally learned off as well. You’ll find her article on “no smell decarb in a instant pot” in Health, Research and Education. Also in Germany, some lucky Green Fans are getting paid upwards of £88,000! to be testers in Business and Industry.
In other news overseas, Twitter has made one of several big moves by tech giants recently to relax policies and community safety surrounding Cannabis and Hemp advertising. Anyone in the online sales field knows how contentious this issue is so this is another great leap forward.
The UK also permits it first dispensary showing yet again there market is getting ready to expand.
Dr. Brian Walker, out there as always, showing the pollies that a bit of fun can go a long way (and maybe a bit further with our little green friend). Luv your work Dr. Brian.
We are seeing more and more out of Victoria, So good seeing Rachael and David up in the spotlight.
Its more than a shoe in the door, its a brick.
Look forward to seeing you both shine.
Medican is in a couple of weeks on the 25th Feb.
Its held in Nimbin and will be uploaded to Youtube after the event.
Details in Events.

Victoria’s road laws are broken, and Rachel Payne MP and I are doing something about it.

Next week we’ll introduce a Bill to Parliament to allow medicinal cannabis patients to drive when not impaired — like we do with every other prescription medication.

Interesting History
Grandes Heures of Anne of BrittanyLes Grandes Heures d’Anne de Bretagne in French, is a book of hours, commissioned by Anne of Brittany, Queen of France to two kings in succession, and illuminated in Tours or perhaps Paris by Jean Bourdichon between 1503 and 1508. It has been described by John Harthan as “one of the most magnificent Books of Hours ever made”
