High Headliners!

Raining here again, and stormy, the garden loves it.

I just watched the first of Jeremy ‘Joe’ Buckingham’s podcasts, “Into The Weeds” it’s called (see the link near the end of these Headlines). He’s been working on these for quite a while with his offsider Pete, and it didn’t disappoint at all.

Over the summer they built a podcast studio and have episodes planned with a diverse range of characters, aiming to engage a broader audience in the struggle for cannabis law reform. They’re discussing politics, cannabis culture, crime and current events. There is even a surprise home gardening sideshow to be included soon, as well, I believe.

Meanwhile, ‘stonerworld’ is wondering if anyone in Trumpy’s camp smokes weed, or do they just drink Diet Coke®? The Canadian and Chinese tariffs are the first jolt for growers importing cultivation gear and vape hardware, but it remains unclear what their attitude to pot will be.

I watched the movie “Hillbilly Elegy” on Netflix, the film of Vice President J.D. Vance’s biographical book he wrote about his opiate addicted mother and the grandma who brought him up, kicking out his stoner mates. I get they’re trying to stop Fentanyl with the tariffs but I can’t see them supporting cannabis much. Hope I’m wrong.

This hippy is looking forward to mingling with the doctors and mediweed corporates at Lucy Haslam’s UIC event in Brisvegas next weekend, ever hopeful they might kick in to the Legalise Cannabis Party’s campaign, which surely is working on their behalf?
