Fun Fact!
Women receive higher pain relief and have a higher tolerance to THC due to their tendancy to have a higher body fat percentage.
Cannabinoids are lipophilic, which simply means, they attach to fat cells.

NSW Government draft Hemp Industry Development Plan calling for public input.
This Plan exists because we demanded it. Global hemp market—>$18 billion by 2027. If we want regional communities to benefit, if we want jobs, sustainability and sovereignty in fibre, food and building materials, we have to get the policy settings right.
Government wants feedback—let’s give it to them—loudly and constructively—our shot to shape the future of hemp in NSW. Let’s make it count.
Submissions close: Monday 19 May 2025!

Western Australia
Dr Brian Walker has been re-elected to the Western Australian Parliament. As Parliament resumes, Dr Walker has already tabled a bill to establish a cannabis referendum, scheduled for its first reading in late May. If passed, it will give the people of WA a direct voice on the question of cannabis legalisation—an important step toward democratic reform on this long-standing issue.

With votes still being counted in the Federal Election, there have been very positive results for the Party, especially in Far North Queensland (seat of Leichhardt) and a key district west of Brisbane (seat of Blair), achieving impressive results that earn valuable electoral funding. So a big shout-out to all the Queensland House of Representatives candidates!
Party President Melody Lindsay said, “This Federal Election has been a step forward in our journey. As President, I take great pride in our Queensland team. We understand that we operate in one of the toughest states for our movement, but with a united team we will continue to push forward”.

MPs David Ettershank and Rachel Payne are leading the fight to make religious institutions and charities responsible for past wrongdoings of clergy and volunteers, introducing a bill to state parliament.
David also chaired a parliamentary committee looking into the merits of changes to state planning laws. “We all know that there is a desperate need to build more housing in locations that are close to transport and jobs. Where the road divides, is to what degree should the rights of local residents to have a say in development and community is consulted and respected”.
